NATIONAL WATTLE DAY WALK

  • Jerrabomberra Hill Road Jerrabomberra, NSW, 2619 Australia (map)

Join QPRC and Queanbeyan Landcare on an educational walk up Mount Jerrabomberra to celebrate World Wattle Day! The walk is one of the events QPRC has organised for Biodiversity Month.   Biodiversity Month Events - Queanbeyan-Palerang

The walk will stay on a well-maintained gravel road of an easy grade uphill, and will be at a slow-moderate pace with regular stops. Please wear enclosed shoes and sun protection, and bring adequate water.

The meeting point for this walk is the Mount Jerrabomberra Carpark, Jerrabomberra Hill Road (off Halloran Drive).

Come along and learn about our native vegetation and some of our natural history. A morning tea will be provided after the walk.

Tom Baker, Bill Willis and Daryl Crapp from Queanbeyan Landcare will be leading the walk.
