Australian Heritage Festival
The Australian Heritage Festival is produced nationally with the vision of recognising and celebrating the significance of our natural, built, cultural and social heritage.
Each year, the National Trust collaborates with hundreds of partners to deliver a diverse and locally-oriented program of free and ticketed events.
National Tree Day
Planet Ark's National Tree Day started in 1996 and has grown into Australia's largest community tree planting and nature care event.
Each year, around 300,000 people volunteer their time to engage in environmental activities that educate Australians about the world around them.
Queanbeyan Landcare Monthly Meetings
Held on the first Tuesday of each month in Queanbeyan West. The meetings start at 7.30pm, all are welcome.
Radio Landcare
Radio Landcare goes to air every Tuesday from 9:00am to 10:00am. Discussions include Landcare/catchment management as well as interviews with stakeholders including on-ground volunteers, coordinators, businesses, government and those with scientific and technical backgrounds.
National Eucalypt Day
Held annually on 23 March, National Eucalypt Day aims to raise awareness of eucalypts and celebrate the important place that they hold in the hearts and lives of Australians.
Clean Up Australia Day
Clean Up Australia inspires and empowers communities to clean up, fix up and conserve our environment.

World Environment Day
Queanbeyan Palerang Regional Council regularly holds events on World Environment Day which Queanbeyan Landcare supports and promotes.
National Wattle Day
National Wattle Day is celebrated on 1 September across Australia and is inspired by our national floral emblem.
It is a celebration of where we live and who we are and is an expression of our national identity.
