Australian Heritage Festival
The Australian Heritage Festival is celebrated in April and May each year by organising activities that showcase and celebrate our natural, built and cultural heritage.
National Tree Day
Planet Ark's National Tree Day started in 1996 and has grown into Australia's largest community tree planting and nature care event.
Queanbeyan Landcare Monthly Meetings
Held on the first Tuesday of each month in Queanbeyan West. The meetings start at 7.30pm, all are welcome.
Radio Landcare
Radio Landcare goes to air every Tuesday from 9:00am to 10:00am. Discussions include a summary of ‘What’s On’ in the Landcare/catchment management community as well as interviews with stakeholders including on-ground volunteers, coordinators, businesses, government and those with scientific and technical backgrounds.
National Eucalypt Day
Held annually on 23 March, National Eucalypt Day aims to raise awareness of eucalypts and celebrate the important place that they hold in the hearts and lives of Australians.
Clean Up Australia Day
Clean Up Australia inspires and empowers communities to clean up, fix up and conserve our environment.
World Environment Day
Queanbeyan Palerang Regional Council regularly holds events on World Environment Day which Queanbeyan Landcare supports and promotes.
