NATIONAL TREE DAY

  • Bicentennial Park 57a Crest Park Parade Queanbeyan West, New South Wales, 2620 Australia (map)

Join QPRC and Queanbeyan Landcare on Sunday 26 July from 9:00am to revegetate Bicentennial Park in Queanbeyan for National Tree Day. We will be planting almost 1,000 native trees and shrubs in the park, creating a pocket of native bush for everyone to enjoy. We’ll also be creating habitat corridors and reducing erosion on the site. Light refreshments will be available.

Meet at the carpark at 57a Crest Park Parade, Queanbeyan West. Parking is available at the planting site, and staff will be there to direct you. Planting sites can be accessed on a paved track, but the planting sites are uneven terrain. Please wear enclosed shoes and sun protection and bring drinking water as well.

Please register your attendance at the National Tree Day website here: https://nationaltreeday.org.au/site/10031954
